Big Cup Cafe, SS15 [CLOSED]

Yes, I know what you're thinking. Another new cafe in SS15?! Well this new cafe promises something rather unconventional. They take pride for serving the biggest cup of coffee in town.

My big cup of Mocha!
Taking over the shoplot that formerly housed Big Chomp Burger (sobs, I liked that place :( ) , Big Cup Cafe opened its door to the public on the 4th of August 2014. 50% discount was offered from the 4th-6th of August for all of it's F&B so Guan Ren & I decided to drop by for dinner.

Interior of Big Cup- cosy & well executed, with comfy cushioned sofas & chairs arranged in a manner where one will feel at ease & comfortable to engage in a private conversation with their partners. The friendly staffs greeted us with utmost enthusiasm & smiles, alongside with the harmonic sound of the coffee machine paired up with the latest hits playing in the background, we definitely felt at home in Big Cup Cafe.
The menu of Big Cup. Pretty basic, there's pastas, sandwiches, salad & also pies for those who opt for something lighter.
Mocha (Hot) RM11.90
First thought when I took my first sip : "gosh the foam is thick!". which is probably caused by the bigger serving size of the Mocha. Not too used to it but still acceptable :)
Chicken Meatball Pasta RM13
Homemade chicken meatballs cooked in bolognese sauce, served on a bed of penne
The chicken meatball was really tender & succulent. The big, generous chunks of chicken meatball definitely did justice for this slightly undercooked penne. Some tweaking is needed to give this pasta a punch, but do give them some time as they are still new.
Shepperd's Pie RM10.50
Minced meat cooked in bolognese sauce, topped with mashed potatoes, served with a side of salad.
Perhaps because we visited Big Cup during the late hours, the pie (which was placed on the pastry counter and heated up before it was served to us) felt a little too dry & mediocre to my liking. Perhaps it would fare better if it was fresh out of the oven.
Cheesy Surprises Chips RM13.50
A big bowl of Nachos topped with melted cheese, ham & jalepeno. Be vary as the bowl is really hot & big!
Store-bought Nachos but it's okay, but there's a lot of cheese & ham so it's good. Molten cheese and crunchy nachos will always be the best combination ever. The Cheesy Surprise Nachos is best shared among a group of 3/4 pax as the portion is really big :)
