Burgertory , SS15

Some month back when Burgertory just opened its door to the public, I visited this place Guan Ren and another close friend, Yue Yang. The burger tasted quite normal at then so I didn't bother about this place until recently I've been reading lots of good review on food blogs. My brother too, have been raving about how good Burgertory's Pork Burger is so my dad decided to bring our family to try it out !
What's Unique about this restaurant? Well, the workers DIY it themselves! Impressive, isn't it ?

Their Menu! Burgertory not only serve pork burger but also beef and veggie burger! We all decided to go for their pork burger since it is their specialty
Our order came after a swift 15 minutes wait
Shrooming Salad RM7
With just RM7, we got a big bowl of salad with mushroom filled to the brim of the bowl
Shrooming Swine - Cheddar Mild Cheese & Button Mushroom ,RM14 (set +RM5)
Didn't get to try this but my brother claimed that it was good.
Burgertory Treasure-Cheddar Mild Cheese & Pork Lard RM13 (set +RM5)
On first bite I could feel the crunchiness of the pork lard. The patty was marinated lightly but the juiciness of the patty compensated for it.
The fries were pretty average, but I loved the extra "bonus" wedges they gave
My order- Hop Lips - Scallop Lips, Tobiko, Bonito & Homemade Sauce- RM18
How cute of them to serve my ala-carte burger in a mini wok.

First Impression: Japanese Burger
When I took my first bite: Mhhhmmm scallop!
Second bite: SPICY!

It was a really spicy burger, even for someone who loves spicy food like me. But overall I really liekd the burger. The combination of these JAPANESE ingredients might seem weird at first but after your first bite you won't regret making that decision. The patty was nice and juicy despite being so thick and it did not let me down at all.

Look at that thick patty!

However, the buns weren't as fluffy as other burger joints (my BurgerLab, Big Chomp) but nevertheless, we enjoyed our meal there.

Verdict: Get their Pork Burger! Burgertory has certainly improved a lot since my first visit. My brother told me their side dish such as Fried Portobello and Fried Parmesan are to die for so I'll be back soon.
Be there early! When I was about to leave (around 8-ish) the lines were long and there weren't enough space to accommodate everyone.
