Honey Creme, Desa Sri Hartamas [CLOSED]

Trend watchers, a new wave of dessert trend has hit the Klang Valley. And this time round, it is soft serve ice-cream.
Dessert connoisseurs in the Klang Valley can rejoice as the organic premium soft-serve ice cream brand, Honey Creme, a popular Korean-style premium organic soft-serve ice cream brand has finally set foot in Malaysia!
Honey Creme is a Korean-style premium organic soft-serve ice cream brand, conceived through a fruitful Korean-Taiwanese business partnership. Its unique flavours and topping combinations can be credited to the ingenious health-conscious Korean partners while their Taiwanese allies are the marketing maestros behind Honey Creme’s cult following. Honey Creme has been enjoying brisk sales in countries such as home country Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and Indonesia.
Ice creams have always been stigmatized as unhealthy and nutritionally deficient but indulging in Honey Creme does not have to be frowned upon and reserved only for diet cheat days. Specially handcrafted with premium organic ingredients from all over the world including South Korea’s top organic milk and creams, Honey Crème’s soft serve can be a healthier option with nutritional toppings like raw honeycomb, organic mixed grains, heart-healthy dark chocolate or simply the sinfully indulgent choice of popcorn or cotton candy toppings.
Signature Honey Comb Soft Serve
The Honeycomb Soft Serve is crowned with a golden chunk of raw honey comb is truly a sight to behold and a delight to the palate. The raw honeycomb provides a natural sweetness, packed with a variety of minerals, trace elements, amino acids, enzymes and other health giving properties into each serving of delectable soft serve.

Organic Mixed Grain
Dubbed by the people behind Honey Creme as ‘the nutritional ice-cream’, the Organic Mixed Grain is the choice for the waist or health conscious. The organic mixed grains blend of several nutritious grains and seeds (soy beans, brown rice, black sesame seeds, flax seeds, black beans, oats, rye, black glutinous rice, pearl barley) presents a unique multi layered aroma paired with the delectable taste of caramel that is drizzled to the soft serve. Based on a recipe created by renowned Korean royal court physician, Dae Jang Geum, this specific diet trend is prolific in Korea; which probably explains why Korean women are so often envied for their lithe figures.

Madame Waffle, Mid Valley Megamall [CLOSED]

Mid Valley has been sprouting with new eateries that garnered the attention of Malaysians such as Magnum Cafe , Milkcow Malaysia & Tim Ho Wan. Madame Waffle is one of the relatively newer addition that has been drawing crowd from all walks of life, dominating the feed of my Instagram timeline.

Madame Waffle is a Japanese quick-service style cafe specializing in artisan Belgian waffles, specialty coffee and green tea. Located at Level 3 Mezzanie Floor (opposite of Magnum Cafe, next to Nana's Green Tea) , this cozy little space fills up the air with whiff of aromatic freshly baked waffles which can be detected from far.

Upholding its brand's tagline, 'Belgian waffles meet Japanese flavours', the liege waffles served at Madame Waffles are made from scratch using the finest ingredients imported from Japan and baked fresh upon ordering.

Leige waffles, unlike regular waffles, are made with a thicker batter which that is similar to a bread dough, which results in a delicious, thick butter waffle that is crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside.
Kafu Waffle (waffle in a cup) RM12 each.
From left: Chocomatte, Matcha Waffle Parfait, Happy Tiramisu
Madame Waffle's latest addition to their menu. The Kafu Waffle literally translates as "Cup Waffles", which features Madame Waffle's Signature Waffle cut into strips, served with your preferred choice of ice-cream and toppings in a cup!
Dainty in size, the kafu waffles are the perfect on-the-go sweet treat.
My favourite Kafu Waffle would definitely be the Chocomatte , which features crushed peanuts, gelato and Ferrero Rocher Chocolate. A delightful contrasting in texture of the soft ice-cream and crunchy chocolate!

Banana Nutella RM18.50
The world's favourite combination : Banana & Nutella. The Banana Nutella features Madame Waffle's Signarure Waffle spread generously with thick Nutella & drizzled with Belgium chocolate, served with sliced banana, caramel sauce, cream & a scoop of double chocolate gelato. Chocolate lovers would go banana over this combination!

Sea Salt Dark Chocolate RM10.50
Signature plain Belgian waffle spread with a thick, luscious layer of rich dark chocolate, topped with crushed nuts and sea salt. The addition of sea salt accentuate the overall taste of this dish. My personal favourite at Madame Waffle!

Tiramisu Waffle RM11
Signature plain Belgian waffle topped with a smooth and rich tiramisu cream, dusted with coco powder and icing sugar
White Chocolate Lychee RM11.50
Signature Liege Waffle topped with cream cheese, lychee, chocolate and Florentine.
Triple Chocolate Bomb
Chocolate lovers, this is for you. Liege waffle drizzled with a concoction of dark chocolate, white chocolate and milk chocolate, served with vanilla gelato and chopped fruits on the side. Personally find this dish a little too sweet for me, but it is really all up to preferences!
Iced Blended Matcha RM14.50 & Iced Blended Chocolate RM15.50
Drinks perfect for the hot weather here in Malaysia. The Iced Blended Matcha was a delight to the tastebuds, with subtle taste of fragrant roasted green tea and a sweetness that was just right. The Iced Blended Chocolate is made using premium chocolate, hence the rich taste and flavours.
Dark Chocolate Mocha RM11
Flat White

Rose Latte RM11

Hot Peanut Butter, Jam, Banana Wrap RM7.30
The classic peanut butter, jam and banana sandwich, in the form of a hot wrap! Drizzled with chocolate sauce & topped with grounded nuts to give it an extra crunch.
I find the sweetness just right, a simple yet delightful dessert which leave little guilt!
Healthy Banana Split RM7.30
Friendly to the waistline and also wallet. Granola, sliced banana, greek yoghurt, chopped mango, apple and raisins.
A delightful medley of flavours and textures. The healthy banana split was simply splendid! The sweetness from the granola and juicy fruits balanced up perfectly with the greek yoghurt which leans towards the sourish side.

Healthy Yogurt with Granola RM 5.20

A simple yoghurt and granola dessert. Like the Healthy Banana Split, the greek yoghurt is inclined towards the sour side. The blueberry and mango preserve balances up the sourness well. I would prefer the Healthy Banana Split over the yoghurt desserts as I favor the extra crunch and texture.

Verdict: Healthy, filling and wholesome wraps and salad. Don't forget to try their healthy selection of desserts too!
